Kurt brings more than 35 years of manufacturing, engineering, operations, and continuous-improvement experience to Built by Koop.
His work is grounded in understanding how an operation actually runs: the movement of materials, the sequence of work, the people doing it, the equipment involved, and the constraints that limit throughput, quality, and responsiveness.
Kurt helps organizations identify the process conditions that create wasted effort and inconsistent execution, then build practical improvements around Lean principles, industrial engineering, standard work, material flow, and operational discipline.
He believes the best improvements are not theoretical. They are clear enough for the team to use, strong enough to hold up under pressure, and practical enough to sustain.
Courtney Middelkoop
Courtney brings industrial engineering, business operations, workflow automation, data systems, and high-performance discipline to Built by Koop.
She helps organizations turn disconnected tools and manual follow-up into clearer, more reliable operating systems. Her work includes process design, onboarding and offboarding workflows, CRM and lead processes, dashboards, knowledge systems, and automation.
Courtney works with systems such as Google Workspace, CRM and project-management platforms, Zapier, Make, and n8n to create connected workflows that improve visibility, reduce coordination work, and make the next step easier to execute.
As a modern pentathlete working toward the LA 2028 Olympic Games, she applies the same mindset to business that she brings to training: define the objective, measure performance, build the system, and improve it continuously.
